In order to continue the traditions of excellence, and enhance your experience – we are moving the 2014 IMAF will be Broadcast Live from ESPN Wide World of Sports on August 15-17, 2014

LOCATION/DATE: Saturday August 9, 2014 – ASU Phoenix Prep, 735 E. Fillmore, Phoenix, AZ 85006. * Event Starts at 10 am.

All competitors must wear a clean white Karate uniform (GI). All competitors must have their own kumite (free-sparring) equipment, which includes a mouthpiece, a set of hand pads, and males must wear a protective supportive cup.

This seminar will explore aikido both on and off the mat and how the principles embedded in our art can genuinely create peace, whether that be internally within ourselves or in the wider world.

It runs from 4th July through to the 6th July and will involve many different sessions both on and off the mat lead by leaders in their field. Much of the benefit will come from networking with others from around the world and accommodation has been secured at Burwell House at very reasonable cost to allow people to spend as much time as possible together over the seminar period.

Alessandro Tittarelli Sensei is amongst the world top aikido practicioners and masters.

He was greatly respected and loved by the late Morihiro Saito Soke of Iwama Ryu and he is today a close collaborator of his son and successor Saito Hitohira Sensei, Kaicho of Iwama Shin Shin Aikishurenkai.
